We are starting to use the new supplement to the Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnal.  It is called "All Creation Sings" (ACS). and is described as follows in its introduction:

“The ongoing renewal of worship holds to the center of word and sacrament, continues to sing
weekly of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and claims the Spirit’s guidance and
power in our own lives. All Creation Sings, hand in hand with the Evangelical Lutheran Worship
(ELW), supports these ongoing dimensions, and it invites us to expand our sung prayer with
new and timely attention to the world our Creator so marvellously made and to our common life
as creatures within it.”

I have spent the last month becoming familiar with this new book and am looking forward to introducing
more hymns and liturgies to our congregation. There are two additional settings to add to the ten we
have in ELW; Setting 11 in ACS is presented in both English and Spanish reflecting continuing demographic developments in North America. Setting 12 offers options elements that can enable it to support observance of Holy Communion in the evenings.

Revelations 5:13 sums up the theme for this supplement:

“Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, singing, ‘To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honour and glory and might forever and ever!”
