The second Assembly of the Anglican Church of Canada and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada will be held in Calgary, Alberta from June 27 to July 2, 2023.

For the second time in our history the ELCIC will meet in collaboration with our Full Communion partners, the Anglican Church of Canada. Their General Synod will be meeting at the same time as our Special Convention, with a number of joint sessions involving both bodies for worship, fellowship, Bible study, presentations and other discussions—with other matters such as voting and convention business being conducted separately.

Pastor Kristian is a delegate from the ABT Synod, as well as the co-chair of the worship planning committee for the convention.
