Marcia Nerbas

 I have had the pleasure of sitting on Council for 1 year as a member at large.  I knew very little of the work behind the scenes at Hope Lutheran and had a learning curve that was huge. Initially mostly finances but then so many other areas that had to be dealt with. I must say I saw the workings of a respectful and well intentioned council who put a lot of time, work, and thoughts into making our church home a comfortable and meaningful place to share our times together.   I have been involved with kitchen duties, the stitching group, care to connect, garbage pick up in May, my husband with the outdoor gardening, dinner meal with Pastor at the church and 1 on my own, ringing handbells and now I have volunteered for the Outreach/Social Ministry position on Council.
